With Siteware, the products you wish to control are entered into the database, each with their own unique barcode ID. For each item, you can store critical data such as quantity in stock, size, colour, serial number, description, location and many more.

All your workers are also entered with their own unique ID, also capturing details such as start date, job description, contact number and company. You also have the ability to allocate them  a ‘template’. Thus controlling the items they are authorized to receive.

Products are booked in and out of the stores using a barcode scanner and if you use our professional edition then you also have the option of a portable scanner too!

Warning flags are built in to prevent a worker abusing the system and taking items before they should be.

The reporting suite within the software gives you full details of items in stock, their locations, their costs, as well as a full transaction history so you can view exactly where the items have gone, to who and when.

Construcion Manager Costain-Skanska

A cost review on our Construction project identified that were spending a high amount on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we were constantly running out of items and then having a frantic panic trying to get new stock in to enable us to carry on working.  We then decided to implement a stock control system that was internet based which we could use to manage the intake and issue of PPE.  We approached PCF who came into site and listened to our requirements, they then designed and developed a PPE system for us that is capable of controlling stock levels and keep records of what is issued to our sub-contractors.  Our needs did not stop there and we soon realised that we needed more functionality from the system  as in reports, back dating of materials that were issued before the system was developed.  PCF have been very supportive and helpful through the development process of this software and we would not have been able to do it without them.
